One of history’s categorical game-changers in animation, Pendleton Ward’s Adventure Time was first produced as a short by Frederator Studios for Nickelodeon in 2005. The series later found a home at Cartoon Network, premiering in May 2010, and later still, MAX.
With close to 300 episodes—and multiple Emmy, Annie, Peabody, BAFTA, and Teen Choice trophies—under their belt, Jake the dog and Finn the human join icons Fred Flintstone, Homer Simpson, and SpongeBob SquarePants as giants in the cartoon landscape.
In August 2023, the spin-off series, Adventure Time: Fionna and Cake, premiered on MAX.
